Pioneers and James Cheese left RLCS 2022-23 - Fall Split Major

The second game day of the Rocket League Championship Series 2022-23 - Fall Split Major has come to an end, following which the Pioneers and James Cheese teams suffered their third defeat and left the championship. In turn, the teams Karmine Corp, Oxygen Esports, Gen.G Mobil1 Racing, Team Secret and Version1 successfully crossed the equator of the competition, making it to the playoffs.

In the third round of the tournament, the Pioneers team lost to Quadrant (0:3) and resigned. In turn, the James Cheese team failed to cope with G2 Esports (0:3) and also left the event.

In turn, the teams Karmine Corp and Oxygen Esports performed with a plus sign, beating Moist Esports (3:0) and Version1 (3:0) in the third round, respectively, to reach the playoffs. They were followed by the Gen.G Mobil1 Racing, Team Secret and Version1 teams, which turned out to be stronger than FaZe Clan (3:0), Moist Esports (3:1) and PWR (3:0), respectively.

Tomorrow, December 10, the last three matches of the fourth round will take place, and the final round of the Swiss stage of the championship will be played to determine the full list of playoff participants.

Rocket League Championship Series 2022-23 - Fall Split Major takes place from December 8 to 11 in Rotterdam at the Rotterdam Ahoy venue. As part of the championship, 16 participants (5 from North America, 5 from Europe, 2 from Oceania, 2 from Latin America, 1 each from Asia-Pacific and the Middle East) compete for a total prize pool of $310,000, as well as ranking points.
