X10 Sapphire and Guild X left VCT 2022: Game Changers Championship

Teams X10 Sapphire and Guild X have left the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Championship. According to the results of the second round of the lower bracket, the teams lost to Shopify Rebellion GC (0:2) and Cloud9 White (0:2), respectively, thus completing their performance at the championship in Berlin.

Shopify Rebellion GC - X10 Sapphire

The first match of the gaming day started on the Haven map, which became the choice of the team from Thailand. At the same time, X10 Sapphire players quickly seized the initiative and managed to devastatingly close the half in attack. However, after the switchover, the North American team returned to take the map to overtime, and then take the lead in the series — 16:14.

Next, the teams moved to the Pearl card, which turned out to be the choice of the Shopify Rebellion GC. Here, the starting advantage remained with the North Americans, who played well in attack and knocked out a good advantage. After switching sides X10, Sapphire tried to return to the game, but in vain. As a result, Shopify Rebellion GC confidently closed its pick and knocked out the opponent from the championship — 13:6.

Cloud9 White—Guild X

The next confrontation started on the map Fracture, which became the choice of the European team. However, here the audience did not see any struggle, as Cloud9 White quickly seized the initiative and brought the matter to a devastating 13:3.

Next, the teams moved to the Haven map, which became the choice of Cloud9 White. And again, the European team did not show any struggle, while the representatives of Cloud9 White had two excellent halves to get the final victory in the series — 13:5.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Championship takes place November 15-20 in Berlin at LEC Studio. As part of the championship, eight women's teams from Europe, Asia, Japan, North and Latin America are fighting for a total prize pool of $500,000.
