FaZe Clan Invitational by VALORANT starts today
The next IGNITION SERIES tournament starts today, July 6th. FaZe Clan Invitational is the third championship in the American region. It will gather 16 teams that will compete for $ 50,000 in prize money and the title of champion.
Competition at the tournament is expected to be serious. The list of participants has already been determined, and the teams are divided into groups:
- Group A: Sentinels, Lemonade Stand, Gen.G Esports, Built By Gamers ;
- Group B: Team SoloMid, Bloom, Cloud9, Renegades ;
- Group C: T1, Mixup, Team Envy, Complexity;
- Group D: FaZe Clan, China Nguyen, Immortals, 100 Thieves.
Each group is played in GSL format, that is, teams will have a chance to make a mistake. Only 8 best teams will get into the main stage.
The FaZe Clan Invitational will be the first tournament after the release of the second act of VALORANT. However, we will not see a new Killjoy agent at the championship and most likely the entire tournament will be played on version 1.04. The championship will take place from 6 to 9 August. The start of the first matches is scheduled for today at 00:00 Moscow time.
