Nerd Street Gamers will host the first leg of the VALORANT Champions Tour

Esports organizer Nerd Street Gamers has been named operator and producer of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021.

The deal will allow Nerd Street Gamers to register, operate and produce all Challengers and Masters events from January through March. Note that after that, another company will be selected for the subsequent championships.

The company was selected by publisher Riot Games, which revealed details of the VALORANT Champions Tour back in November 2020.

Philadelphia-based Nerd Street Gamers is no stranger to tournament broadcasting at VALORANT. Throughout 2020, the organizer has teamed up with teams like T1 and FaZe Clan to host the Ignition Series tournaments before Riot Games unveils the new championship.

Below is the schedule for the North American episode:

CHALLENGERS WEEKEND:

• Open qualifiers: January 27-31.
• Closed qualifiers: February 4-7.

CHALLENGERS WEEKEND 2:

• Open qualifiers: February 10-14.
• Closed qualifiers: February 18-21.

CHALLENGERS WEEKEND 3:

• Open qualifiers: February 24-28.
• Closed qualifiers: March 4-7.

MASTERS STAGE 1:

• March 13-14.
• March 19-21.
