LetsPlay.Live проведет VALORANT Oceania Tour
Riot Games and LetsPlay.Live have teamed up to host the upcoming VALORANT Oceania Tour. Tournament operator LetsPlay.Live becomes the sole organizer of the multi-stage championship, which will present the participants with a total prize pool of $ 38.1 thousand.
The initial announcement of the 2021 VALORANT Champions Tour, the official global Riot Games series, did not identify Oceania as a distinct region. Note that instead, it was planned to provide teams from Australia and surrounding territories to qualify in the North American region. This is also in line with Riot's recent decision to close the League of Legends pro league in Oceania and allow players in the region to qualify across North America for the LCS.
Through a partnership with a local organizer, Oceania will now have a clear competitive ecosystem that will allow teams to compete locally. Additionally, ESL Gaming and Guinivere recently teamed up to revive League of Legends competition in the region.
