The VCT 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs has come to an end. At the tournament, which took place online from August 13 to 22, 16 teams from Southeast Asia competed for an aggregate prize pool of $ 100,000, precious VCT Circuit Points, as well as two tickets to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. The champion of the event was the Bren Esports team, which in the grand final proved to be stronger than Paper Rex with a score of 3: 0.

The grand final started, as it should be, with a series of overtimes. However, the guys from Bren Esports showed a little more composure, winning their pick with a 16:14 score. The second map also did not go without a nervous ending, since the teams again went to overtime. This time, Bren Esports spent a little less time to resolve all issues and record the victory on the opponent's choice - 14:12. But on the third decisive map, Icebox, as such, there was no longer any struggle, since Paper Rex finally floated, having forked out just six rounds in total - 13: 6.

Despite the defeat, Paper Rex will still represent the region at the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin, as will the champion Bren Esports.
