RMR tournaments will be held in Bucharest from 11 to 24 April
PGL has officially announced the dates and times for the Regional Qualifiers for the Spring 2022 Major. American, Asian and two European RMR tournaments will be held in LAN format from April 11 to 24 in Bucharest. At the same time, open qualifications for the events will begin at the end of February.
The Americas Championship will take place over four days from 11 to 14 April. It will be followed by the RMR tournament for teams from Asia and Oceania, which will be held from April 15 to 16. After them, European teams will arrive in Bucharest, for which two RMR tournaments will be organized at once. The first European RMR tournament will take place from 17 to 20 April, while the second championship will take place from 21 to 24 April.
Recall that according to the new set of rules from Valve, each team must re-qualify to participate in the Major, including the current champion of PGL Major Stockholm 2021. At the same time, Valve completely abandoned the RMR points system, in fact returning to the Minor system. The only thing that decides whether a team will play at PGL Antwerp Major 2022 is the results of the RMR tournaments in April.
Full schedule of RMR tournaments at PGL Major Stockholm 2021:

- Asia (4 teams): April 15-16.
- Europe A (16 teams): April 17-20.
- Europe B (16 teams): April 21-24.
Teams that perform best at PGL Stockholm 2021 will reportedly be rewarded with direct invites to RMR tournaments, but this is the only head start they will get compared to any other team.
