
Copenhagen Flames finish first day of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 undefeated
The Copenhagen Flames team beat ENCE with a score of 16:8 and finished the first game day of the main stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 without defeat. In turn, FaZe Clan managed to get the first victory in the championship, defeating the Bad News Eagles with a score of 16:4.
The duel between Copenhagen Flames and ENCE took place on the Ancient map. However, the Danish team immediately seized the initiative on the server, finishing the first half with a twofold advantage. Well, after the switch of sides, the ENCE players were unable to oppose anything to the opponent, thus allowing Copenhagen Flames to get their second victory in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 — 16:8.
A parallel encounter between FaZe Clan and Bad News Eagles also took place on the Ancient map. However, the intrigue was only alive for a few opening rounds, as karrigan and company later took control of the situation. As a result, FaZe Clan got an easy victory over the Bad News Eagles, thus finishing the first game day with a "1-1" score — 16:4.







PGL Major Antwerp 2022 takes place from 9 to 22 May at the Antwerps Sportpaleis in Belgium. During the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Asia, Oceania, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, ranking points in the EPT and BLAST Premier tables, as well as one ticket to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
