NAVI advanced to the playoffs of PGL Major Antwerp 2022
The NaVi team defeated Ninjas in Pajamas with a score of 2:1 and advanced to the playoffs of PGL Major Antwerp 2022. "Born to Win" finished the main stage of the major without a single defeat, thanks to which they received the top seed in the quarterfinals. In turn, Ninjas in Pajamas will go to the fourth round of the competition, where they will play with FURIA.
The meeting started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the Swedish team. However, NAVI showed such a confident start that it actually signed the fate of the opponent. But if towards the end of the first half Ninjas in Pajamas managed to get a couple of rounds, then after the switch of sides NAVI confidently finished what they started and took the lead in the series — 16:6.
The teams then moved to the Mirage map, the first half of which went in an equal fight. Nevertheless, after the change of sides, the Swedes managed to turn the tide of the match, thereby equalizing the score in the series at the opponent's peak - 16:14.
Everything was decided on the Ancient map, where NAVI, having started on defense, actually decided all the issues in advance, taking 13 rounds. After switching sides, Ninjas in Pajamas tried to return to the fight, but in vain. As a result, "Born to Win" quickly closed the desider and made it to the playoffs of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 — 16:4.
