Tournament operator 4D Esports, which was responsible for hosting the third round of DPC 2021/22 for Latin America, apologized to the participants for the delay in the payment of prizes. According to the tournament operator, the problems arose due to non-fulfillment of obligations by one of the sponsors.

We sincerely apologize to the teams affected by the delay in payments for the third round of DPC 2021/22 in South America. We tried to always be open to dialogue and answer questions through internal channels, but we understand that this path is no longer a priority for some participants. Since this topic has aroused public interest, for the sake of clarity, we will explain the situation in general terms.

Currently, 4D Esports is trying to legally obtain a payment from one of the sponsors that was not received at the very beginning of the season. This is in no way the responsibility of the teams, so we understand that this does not justify delaying payment. We have made every effort to meet all the deadlines stipulated in the contracts regarding the first and second rounds, but there are still seven teams waiting for the third prize money. Paying off our debt to them is our top priority.

Over the next few weeks, we will fulfill our obligations to the clubs. We understand that this situation has brought them considerable inconvenience, and we do not try to ignore it. We will work to keep waiting times as short as possible.

Recall that last week the organization SG esports accused the organizers of the third round of DPC 2021/22 for Latin America of not paying prize money to the participants of the championship. In addition, the problem was reported by Wolf Team players who did not receive $24,000 for sixth place.

DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I took place from June 9 to July 17 online. The winner of the championship was the Thunder Awaken team, which, together with beastcoast, represented their region at PGL Arlington Major 2022.
