PGL to play three DPC 2023 tours in Western Europe and North America
Tournament operator and organizer of international esports events PGL will become the operator of DPC 2023. The Romanian organization will host three DPC 2023 tours in Western Europe and North America.
The next season of DOTA 2 is just around the corner, and we're proud to announce that two of the most exciting regions will be part of our 2023 broadcast plan.
PGL will cover DPC 2023 games in two regions at all stages. The studio will cover open and closed qualifiers, the first and second divisions, and will also show three majors.
DPC 2023 Winter Tour
- Open Qualifiers - December 11-18
- Closed qualifiers - December 19-22
- First Division - January 8-29
- Second Division - January 31 - February 21
- Winter Major - February 24 - March 5
DPC 2023 Sprting Tour
- Open Qualifiers - March 13-18
- Closed qualifiers - March 19-22
- First Division - March 12 - April 2
- Second Division - April 4-25
- Spring Major - April 28 - May 7
DPC 2023 Summer Tour
- Open Qualifiers - May 15-20
- Closed qualifiers - May 21-24
- First Division - May 14 - June 4
- Second Division - June 6-27
- Summer Major - June 30 - July 9
The total prize pool for each league will be $280,000. The distribution of the prize pool will remain unchanged.
All leagues will last for 22 days. In each league and each division, matches will be played in the bo3 format.
The first divisions of the DPC 2023 Winter Tour will be played by teams that retained a slot in the DPC 2022, as well as those who took the first 2 places in the lower divisions. In the event that a team fails to participate in the top division, the best available team from the bottom will take its slot.
