Slots at The Lima Major 2023 found their owners

The first round of the top division of the DPC 2022/2023 season has ended, according to the results of which eighteen participants from six different regions completed the list of participants in The Lima Major 2023. As part of the tournament, scheduled for late February - early March, teams will compete for a total prize pool of $500,000, and also 1,900 points.

Four teams from Western Europe will take part in the championship - Team Liquid , Gaimin Gladiators , Tundra Esports and Entity. In turn, Eastern Europe will be represented by three representatives - BetBoom Team , Team Spirit and HellRaisers . PSG.LGD , Team Aster , Knights and EHOME will represent China at the Peruvian Major.

North America will be represented by TSM and Shopify Rebellion , while Latin America will be represented by Peruvian bands Beastcoast and Evil Geniuses . Southeast Asia will be represented by three teams - Execration , Geek Slate and Talon Esports .

Participants will be divided into two equal groups (nine teams each), from where twelve teams will go to the playoffs (the four strongest teams from each group will go to the upper bracket, while the teams that take places from 5th to 6th will go to to the bottom grid). In turn, the three worst participants from each group will leave the competition.

The Lima Major 2023 will take place from February 22 to March 5 in Peru at the Arena 1 site. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from the CIS, North America, Europe, Latin America, China and Southeast Asia will compete for a total prize pool of $500,000, as well as 1,900 DPC points.
