Gaimin Gladiators — the first participant in the upper bracket semi-finals of The Lima Major 2023
The playoff stage of The Lima Major 2023, the first Major Dota 2 tournament this year, has started. In the opening match, Gaimin Gladiators defeated Team Aster , the only team from China to make it into the winner's bracket. Earlier we wrote about the list of participants in the final stage of the Major .
On the first map, Team Aster failed to provide proper resistance, losing to GG with a score of 9:19 in 33 minutes. The second card was not much more competitive. Seleri and the team outplayed their opponents again with a score of 13:13 in 33 minutes.
Thus, Gaimin Gladiators advance to the semi-finals of the upper bracket, where they will play with the winner of the Entity vs Evil Geniuses match. Team Aster go down to the lower bracket. They will have to fight for survival in the tournament against the Tundra Esports team, the champions of The International 2022.
