Boston Uprising signed Seeker
The management of the Boston Uprising esports club announced on their Twitter account that they had signed a contract with professional league rookie Alex 'Seeker' Taylor. A 17-year-old player does not fit the league's regulations, according to which participants in the event must be of legal age. In this regard, the club applied to the league organizers to allow Seeker to take part in the matches.

For now, Seeker will be listed as an inactive player on the team. Alex started his career in 2020 under the DarkMode Esports tag. He also took part in matches on behalf of Noble, Majestados, Revival and other teams. The most important achievements in his career can rightfully be considered the victory at Overwatch Contenders 2020 Season 2: South America and Contenders 2021 NA Season 1 - March, where he earned $14,000 and $14,595 respectively. In the first event, he managed to win with his teammates from Majestados, and in the second - with the players of Revival. In September 2020, he decided to end his career as a professional player in Overwatch, but after almost six months he returned to the stage and a couple of months later became the winner of the March Contenders 2021 NA Season 1, where he earned his biggest cash prize. Throughout his career, he has earned over $9,200.
The Boston Uprising are currently off to a low start in the Overwatch League 2022 - Summer Showdown. The tournament starts on August 11 with a group stage that will determine the seeding of the participants in the playoffs. The prize fund of the championship is $225,000.
