IHC Esports qualified for IEM Rio Major 2022

The IHC Esports team outplayed Grayhound with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they qualified for IEM Rio Major 2022. The Mongolian team takes the first place at IEM Road to Rio 2022 Asia-Pacific RMR, while Grayhound falls into the lower bracket of the championship, where they will play with JiJieHao International.

The final of the upper bracket of the RMR tournament started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the Australian team. At the same time, the start was left for the IHC Esports players, who prepared for the opponent's attack and actually sealed the fate of the map. After the side switch, Grayhound tried to return to the game, but it was too late. As a result, IHC Esports managed to put the squeeze on the opponent and took the lead in the series — 16:12.

Next, the teams moved to the Mirage map, which became the choice of IHC Esports. Here the situation turned upside down, since the Australians owned most of the initiative. However, in the very end, IHC Esports managed to return to the game in order to transfer the matter to overtime, and then get the final victory - 19:16.

IEM Road to Rio 2022 Asia-Pacific RMR takes place from 7 to 9 October in Melbourne at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. As part of the championship, four teams from China, Mongolia, Australia and Israel are fighting for two vacant tickets to IEM Rio Major 2022.
