Grayhound beats JiJieHao International and advances to IEM Rio Major 2022

The Grayhound team turned out to be stronger than JiJieHao International with a score of 2:0 in the IEM Road to Rio 2022 Asia-Pacific RMR, thanks to which they qualified for the IEM Rio Major 2022. Thanks to this victory, the Australian team takes the second place in the RMR tournament and secures its entry into the stage Contenders.
The final match of the IEM Road to Rio 2022 Asia-Pacific RMR started on the Ancient map, which became the choice of the Israeli team. At the same time, the Australians quickly seized the initiative on the server, having managed to close half of the defense with a twofold advantage. After the change of sides JiJieHao International still tried to return to the fight, but in vain. As a result, Grayhound was able to crush the opponent in attack and took the lead in the series — 16:11.
Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which turned out to be the choice of Grayhound. Here the situation turned upside down, because now the Israeli team got a great advantage after playing for the defense. However, after switching sides, Grayhound managed to make a strong comeback, which helped the team get the final victory in the series and make it to IEM Rio Major 2022 — 16:12.

IEM Road to Rio 2022 Asia-Pacific RMR was held from October 7 to 9 in Melbourne at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. As part of the championship, four teams from China, Mongolia, Australia and Israel fought for two vacant tickets to IEM Rio Major 2022.
